I don't know if it's a "rule" or mandatory anymore but I always felt that having to say the pledge of allegiance to the flag(or any allegiance to any country or to any ideal or religious concept at all--whatever it is) was the worst unspoken rule made by humans---for me personally anywayz.

Paying taxes, its not a rule but it is in the way if you know i mean. Why? because taxes were only suppose last during the war period but than govt realized that they can make money out of it so they just kept on raising em.

That you have to buckle up or get fined.
If you are stupid enough not to buckle up yourself to save your own life, you deserve to get hurt.
Second place goes to the ban on "bad fats" foods in NY I believe.
If you get fat, it is usually not from the food, it is from you just sitting still doing absolutely nothing after eating. Besides, people can decide to eat a salad or a burger of fat. The general population should not decide on what is right and wrong.

I find the fact that nymphos can't have sex in public a bit discriminative.... Obese people are allowed to eat in public aren't they? I despise double standards
