Your remote computer is the one that the printer is not hooked up to. If your using your pc as a network hub then every device is hooked up to your pc somehow. Meaning it wont work if you hook your printer to the remote device. Savvy? If not just IM me with more specific questions.

This is actually easier than you think if you already have the computers networked.

Hook the printer up to one of the computers and make sure it's working. Then go to "Start">"Settings">"Printers and Faxes"
The printer you have hooked up should be listed here. Right click on it and select "sharing" One the window that pops up, click the option that says "share this printer" then hit "apply"

Now that that's done, go to the other computer. Go to "start" > "settings" > "Printers and faxes" again. Then click the icon that says "add printer" Hit "next" on the first window, then on the second select the option "Network printer, or a printer that is attached to another computer"

The next option to select should be "browse for a printer" or something similar. Next, double click on the icon which represents the computer that you have the printer hooked up to, then, a printer icon should show up, select that, and you will be able to add the printer.
