Tell her that she can't keep running back to you like that. She is your ex for a reason so tell her she need to find someone else to comfort her. You don't want to mess up things with your girlfriend. This will show your girl how much you value your relationship with her.

Texting is private and intimate. Texting is the perfect way to create a private and intimate world between you and the man or woman in your life. Learn here https://tr.im/hDi21
For women in particular, texting can end up being a fun “game” where they can do or say anything (even things they would never do in the “real” world). Texting is non confrontational. Odds are your relationship ended on a heated note. I don’t know why you and your ex broke up, but there was probably at least one (if not a few dozen) big fights. Done properly (the way I’m going to teach you), texting is simple and subtle. You can slowly feed your ex tested and proven messages and ideas without the risk of either one of you flying off the handle, falling back into old and destructive patterns, and throwing plates at each other.

If the 2 of you have remained friends I guess she feels like it is ok to turn to you. I think you have to sit down and talk to her about your new relationship and tell her that it is important to you and she is causing problems. Just be honest in a gentle way ..... she should be understanding and if not then you will have to be more blunt with her. It is up to you to work this out and it should be done soon if you want to keep your new g/f around.

Friends with ex are not OK when it affects your current relationship. So please tell your ex nicely to 'back off'. And if you want to be friends, you don't always have to be friends with your ex. You can always meet someone new and be friends with them!

Your ex needs to stop. And you need to tell her that she has to stop. You are not her "back up" when there's no one else around. Don't answer her calls, don't call her back - enjoy your new relationship!
