But considering the fast nature that some women give birth, do babies ever get born and fall down the toilet? Have any come to any harm or died in this way?

Must have happened to someone cos the 999 operator told me not to go to the toilet, but it does feel like you really need to go...

I read in the paper a couple of weeks back that this happened to a woman in china, miraculously the baby survived after being stuck in the U-bend for a considerable amount of time until the fire brigade and paramedics could get the baby out. Totally true I swear.

I actually had a friend that was I guess you can say born in a toilet .Her mom thought she had to go #2 and behold she had a baby. She said she felt like she just had to go to the bathroom.

I have heard about this lots of times, its quite common, and unless the baby banged its head it should be fine.
You can actually have a baby underwater as the baby doesnt need to breath right away, it will continue to use the umbilical cord for oxygen.

Babies born in birthing pools are born in water, and that's considered safe! Who knows? I wouldn't want it to happen to me now!

I HAVENT HEARD OF THAT, BUT MY FRIEND WAS PREGNANT AND SHE WENT TO THE BATHROOM TO PEE AND THE BABY STARTED TO COME OUT, SHE HAD TO GET ON HER BED AND PUSH THE BABY THE REST OF THE WAY OUT, UNFORTUNATELY THE BABY WAS STILL BORN, BUT THAT WOULD BE AN AWFUL EXPERIENCE TO HAVE TO GO THROUGH.
