My resolution is to work smarter not harder. Getting the company I work for to allow me to work from home sometimes is up on the list. If my job interferes too much with my lifestyle, it's time to find a new job. It's been my experience that people who spend their whole life at work burn out faster than those who utilize their free time to do something besides work. Once they burn out, the lack of work makes them look less efficient than someone who does their 8 hour day consistently. All that hard work was for nothing and you're back where you started before you had the job. Or worse!

No it isn't a reasonable new year's resolution, because you might over work yourself and may not be able to handle all the pressures of the new responsibility.

it can be but it is an extreme. Why would you want to overwork yourself hence lowering your performance levels since you will be too tired?

no, because if you work a lot, you wont have time for your family and friends, who are more important than your job
