I live where they say it is the sex capital of the world. I also know many working girls as they say here. It is very true that they will not kiss the customer. In other lands I can not say but here it is very true.

I've heard this before. The explanation I have always heard is that prostitues have to have some way of differentiating between what they do for work and what they do at home with their husband or boyfriend or signifigant other. Since they are so intimate, that is the nature of their job, kissing is one thing that they can have which is purely exclusive to their relationships, not their customers. It is a way of keeping emotionally distant from their john.

As strange as it might seem, kissing is more emotionally intimate than sex itself. We kiss people that we love on the lips- lovers, husbands, wives. We also tend to fall in love with people that we kiss and prostitution is not about love. We also kiss our parents, children, friends and family (but hopefully not on the mouth with them and we don't have sex with either, at least not in my culture).
Sex is sex, love is love and romantic love is another creature altogether - they're not the same things. Between sharing emotion and sharing germs, kissing, especially on the lips, is too close between strangers. Like you asked, "that's the way it is."

Who says this? Are you getting your details from movies like "Pretty Woman"? That was one of the turning points in the movie when she kisses him because it meant she "loved" him.
I'm not a prostitute nor have I ever consorted with the type, but isn't the whole idea of prostitution that they have their price for any act?
