I think you mean the lesser of two evils. Digg used to be good, when they only covered technology, now it's just gotten too lame and geeky for my tastes. They do too much stuff on Linux (who cares?), Ruby on Rails (who cares?) and there's some articles today on Browser cache (boring) and FLAC (lame). I hate Digg, I hate it with every fiber in my being.

Slashdot, as it stands right now, there is only one story on the front page worth mentioning and that is the Power6 processor, everything else is either not related to technology, lame or just too geeky. I also hate their tiered commenting system, it sucks. Slashdot is the lesser of two evils, I prefer mainstream technology news such as that found on Cnet, PC Mag, PC World or any number of other (better) websites that don't talk about mundane boring things or how you can get Linux customized in under five hours... I'm not going to spend five hours doing anything (except a job) and I'm certainly not going to waste it on Linux.
