right before you say something SLAP her to get her undivided attention,or maybe you could pull out her hair.

has she been distracted lately to the point of what you tell her she can forget immediately. I am a 31 year old mother of 3 and during the weeks that I have PTO meetings and then girl scout meetings and game practices to get my daughter to, then just the home life of shopping and household chores with my 2 other children, I can get like that as well. I husband says I'm having ditsy moments. I will forget almost anything extra I have to do those weeks.

Ah, there are two easy possibilities and perhaps others:
1) Her hearing has become defective?
- Try lowering the volume on yor TV or stereo and see if you
can clearly hear it and she can't - perhaps that would
convince her to get a hearing test
2) Ten years???
- Wow - perhaps she's decieded that you'll never pop the
question and she's getting ready to decide she wants
someone willing to make a permanent relationship? There are
lot's of things you didn't say, for instance, are either of you
married to someone else? If not, why not consider asking her
if she wants to make the bond permanent?
Good luck,
Mike

It may be 3 different things: one, maybe she is having any health problem that make her lose her hearing sense, or her memory in a short term. Second, it could be you are not talking loud enough, or maybe you are not making yourself clear enough for her. And finally Third: she is simply tired of being your girlfriend for 10 YEARS and wants to go to the next level, and maybe she is to shy or worried about telling you anything that may cause any problem between you guys, maybe is her way to make you understand there is something she wants to hear and you are not saying it....

A couple that I know very well had this same problem two years ago - except it was the man who could not hear. They had his hearing checked and he needed an aid. She says it was the best thing he's ever gotten - stopped her from going nuts. Good luck!

When you need to make sure she heard something, have her repeat it back to you. My brother had premature hearing loss starting when he turned 12. You would be amazed the things he does and doesn't hear, so I had to learn early how to make sure things were heard. This is the best way to make sure it's heard.
Now if she repeats it back to you, and later "forgets," then start having her write it down, or you write it down and have her initial it real quick. When she sees that she's actually forgetting, then she'll have to admit she has a problem. Either that, or she'll stop "forgetting."

She's right..she's not hearing you because she's not fully paying attention to you. She is distracted or thinking of something else when you start up a convo. Believe me I know. Do you often go on tangits? Or talk about things that don't interest her? Something is making her turn off her listening ear.....talk to her and find out what that is...YELL IF YOU HAVE TOO...lol

I have the same problem with my husband. What works for us is
I write things down for him, or I make sure I have eye contact. If he is busy doing something, he will say OK but will tune me out and really not hear me.
Good luck.

Ask a number of the human beings you spot in college to loaf round with you, seize lunch mutually, bypass to the films, etc... you do not ought to stay on the point of someone to change into their pal. verify out the friends too. you may want to fulfill different those that are also on your accepted community, for a similar reason you're.

If it's gotten that frustrating maybe you should write down the date and time you told her certain things, that way you will have proof to show her. I'd say if you sit down and have a face to face conversation she probably will listen better.
