If you are taking the past into account, and although it pains me to say (as a Walsall fan)

1. Aston Villa (won FA cup seven times, the league a few and a European Cup too)
2. Wolves (big side in the fifties right up to eighties)
3. West Brom (good from sixties to eighties)
4. Birmingham City (won nothing of note)
5. Walsall (we're on the way up tho!!!)

1) Aston Villa. Still in the Prem.
2) Wolves. Once claimed to be the 'best club in the world' (before the era of European Cup)
3) Birmingham City. Had some success in the 60s
4) WBA. Also were somewhat successful in the 60s and 70s
5) Walsall. Couldn't recall them winning anything.

VILLA, biggest support, won fa cup, league cup, old first division, European cup.
WOLVES, good support, lots of history.
WEST BROM, very close between second and third
BIRMINGHAM, smallest support and won only 1 league cup
WALSALL, always been in the shadow of the other 4

i'm from yorkshire but support football generally (apart from the jocks) so it has to be Villa-W.Brom.-Brum-Wolves-Walsall.
