Sexual preferences cannot be changed or ended.
Homosexual behavior is inherited or biologic, however a number of heterosexuals, apparently, prefer to believe that gay behavior is primarily a result of social conditioning, among other crap.
Our desire to engage in sexual behavior with someone is influenced by sexual orientation. Sexual orientation refers to the direction of an individual's sexual attraction.
Why are individuals attracted to one sex rather than another? Simon LeVay (1995) believes, and researchers of the topic agree, it is a combination of multiple factors including genetic makeup, hormones and social experiences.
LeVay concluded the "homosexual and heterosexual people differ in the central neuronal mechanisms that control sexual behavior."

Yes and they are not happy. Weird thing when you hang a "guilty of sin" sign around someone's neck and tell them that their natural desires are against the desires of a deity. Even though the book for that religion does not actually say so, atleast not in its original text.
Let me translate that book and the world would be a better place.
I do not think sexual desires and behaviours are learned.

The answer for me is evidenced in my life. Fetishes I had when I was 16 are different to the ones I have now. As I discovered different things I enjoyed my tastes changed. They will change again.
I do not know any ex-homosexuals sorry.

I've been asked this before and I always give the same answer.
I could be a virginal celibate hermit living high on a mountain top cave in the Himalayas and die never seeing another living human being and I'd still be a homosexual.
It's like asking do you know of any reformed humans? It just doesn't work like that.

No such animal. They are either lying to themselves or were not homosexual to begin with. People confuse natural sexual experimentation with sexual identity. The sex act does not define the natural sexuality of a human.

that is an awfull broad question to beging with.. i didnt expect the clarifier.... personally know.. i have never met anyone who admitted to being a homosexual but change later to heterosexual.
though i do know of multiple people that later behaved homosexually after years of playing heterosexual but they will almost always say the always knew something was different about them...
and bi sexuals are not limited by gender in their preferences. thoug hyou will have heterosexual people doing bi or homo sexual acts for various reasons... like girls kissing their friends to turn on their own boyfriends... the are not necassarry attracted sexually to their girlfriend but particpate for the end results....
as far as sexual desire and behaviours in generall-- some of that is learned.... weather you like blonde hair or big butts or green eyes can be the product of your upbringing or early experiences or social impact.

If you want to talk about society's influence on sexuality, think about any society's dominant sexual orientation - heterosexual! If any sexual 'behaviors' are 'learned' surely they would be heterosexual behaviors, considering the abundant influences and promoters of heterosexual culture/behavior.

Nope, but I have an uncle who is homosexual, but married to a woman. He admits he is homosexual, but believes it would be a sin to "act on it" as he says, I think he is insane.

It's not possible. Anyone who claims to be an ex-homosexual is just kidding themselves. You are born with your orientation, whether it is gay or straight. It isn't learned and you cannot choose to be gay. There is a great deal of research that favors the notion that we are born gay. Check out these links.

Sometimes these behaviors are learned.
Many times if you dig deep enough many of these people have been abused either by the opposite sex and are now swinging to their own sex. Or molested by the same sex and in their mind think this is normal. As this is all they know taught to them by an authority figure. Usually a relative.
No difference than young girls who sleep around with all the boys at a young age. These girls also have been horribly molested.
Yes in fewer cases than many would like to believe. Some people are born with the preference of liking their own sex.
