Well trimmed looks better than shaved but if you must shave go with the grain, this hurts less when the hair is growing back in.

Todd, nobody NEEDS to shave there. It is very wierd looking and quite unsanitary. The hair allows air to circulate in the area, and that helps sweat evaporate. If you get rid of the hair, the sweat just sits there and gets stale, and you STINK. Don't do it, or people will be wrinkling their noses and trying to avoid sitting next to you.

go to kmart and get the oyster trimmers for like twenty bucks, put thw shortest guard on in te pack. and trim away.
#1 you wont get cut if done slowly
#2 its nice when done because you have enuff hair there so it doesnt look weird and still feels good and fresh.
tried and true for 30+ years.

personally you are far more better off to go to a beautician and get waxed. The hair takes longer to grow back and it doesn't grow back prickly like if you shaved and you don't itch like hell.

first why do you want to shave. pubic hair looks great on a man I do shave around the base of my penis and I use my beard trimmer

Use an electric hair trimmer, then an ordinary (sharp) razor, if required. And please be careful!
