That was the most confusing Zelda game ever. and it's worse cause it's on a time limit. get a walkthrough. Seriously. I don't normally use a walkthrough but on that one I had no choice.

Your best bet would be to look at GAMEFAQS.COM it has lots of player guides. The Zelda games once you have played a couple become quite logical in what it expects of you. I'm currently enjoying Twilight Princess

I agree, I played it for a little while and then called it quits. Wind Waker and of course Ocarina of Time are much better.
