if the option is ultimate wealth or ultimate health - obviously health. good health gives energy movement and time to attain wealth if thats what you desire. but health in itself is the ultimate riches beyond any monetary status or material gain. ask old oilman rockerfeller when he was unable to eat solid foods and waste away, ...or old joe kennedy that bilked stockholders by rigging the stock market, bootleging and forced foreclosures on the working class and illegal control of boston through the auspicies of his mayor father-in-law...only to befall family tradegy after tragedy (reap what....)...and hugh hefner...actually he has it all at 80...not sure how healthy or wealthy his is, but he is one lucky sob...lol. (jk)

but in comparison between wealth and health...the answer is in the root of the end result. that being that all normal human entities strive for hapiness... and that is the true base of your question. is that happiness from attained wealth and all it brings or a vibrant health and all it brings....? What defines that end? Can be anything....money, strength, possessions, athletic feats? So the root is defined by the individual. And individual happiness is attained by each of their own egos within, and can be gained at no cost simply if people accept and appreciate their health and abilities to do all or any of their 5 senses. Be part of the world that can be as simple as a view, a taste, a smell, a touch, a sensation. To experince being alive and well. Each a treasure in itself.

wealth on the other hand is neither necessary for the essentially strived for happiness nor can create it. It can mask or attempt to compensate, but pales in comparison. by the way how many miserable misers does it take to change a light bulb? (i dont know - but there's a joke in there somewhere)so anyway, health provides all the necessary resources needed given an individuals desire to function contribute be self-sufficient and resourceful, be content and survive and thrive. Conversely wealth without health is valueless and far less important.

Health is more important than wealth. You can't really enjoy your money if you're constantly sick all the time. If you are terminally ill, your wealth will benefit your love ones once you pass on. You will also have more money to do different test and other health care issues. I think you just need to keep your health good, then become rich so you can enjoy both! Just make sure you keep your health up. Wealth is not really important at all, it's a luxery to be rich. Dont get me wrong, it would be "great" to become wealthy. That is one of my goals for 07.

They are both important. There should never be an instance where you are sacrificing one for the other. In a sense, spending to heal yourself is wealth in its own. At the end of the day, however, health is all that will matter. This being because it is what determines whether you will live to see the next day.
