Vash The Stampede.
He's got style, grace and a touch of the human condition generally called compassion. He can dodge bullets, eat donuts and shoots only to wound. He aint human and is desperatly trying to save the planets population from his more evily minded brother.
Failing that, Wolfwood, He has most of those traits with the added cool factor of being a preist.
Both of these are the creation of Yoshihiro ( or yoshitiro, i can never remember) Nightow In his amazing Trigun mangas.
Thats my entry into anime's coolest.

Duo Maxwell and Trowa Barton from Gundam Wing are the best. Mostly because Duo's Gundam has a thermal energy weapon that works under water.
