thanks maths guy
all the words in all 3 papers had between 1 - 12 letters. I grouped them to 1-3 letters 4-6,7-9 and 10-12. the % are:
Times 38%,38%,20%, 4% respectively
Mirror 40,39,15,6%
Sun 35,43,17,5%

Is there anymore clever conclusions to this data?.

The Sun has the smallest median yet largest mean, so the Sun either uses more longer words or much longer words, i.e., either a lopsided frequencey of (say) 7-letter words and/or use of extremely long (11, 12, etc.) words.
