It depends on the enviroment with the two.
There are many people that were or are quite pleased with working for those companies. Myself worked for MCD's as a young person and had no issues at all. It was a fun fast store so the day went quick. I did pull a stint at another store up the road and it was terrible as the staff had no connection to one another and the management was neither fair nor forthcoming.
My mother after retiring went to work for the BK and she had fun there. Again there was fun amongst the staff and management and it was super fast mall store that meant the day went by fast.
So it is not really the name on the place, it is the conditions within it. And that is true of ANY job. I have had many easy sit on your keister and make money jobs that were far worse than my stint at the arches.
So it is really neither.

I work for mcd and I would say its the worst job in the whole world! the only good things are it's flexible for college/uni and they promote from within so in ten years you could be on 25-30 grand a year for doing virtualy the same job as you were when you started

I do like BK but I would rather work for McDs as they are a much bigger company. in the UK anyway. They recently closed a BK drivethru near me and now there is only 1 right in the town centre where its all pedestrianised. McDs have far more branches too.

Burger king does good fries
Mc D's has better burgers, and milkshakes and better quality food in general (except for the fries). I worked in both and found the food in Mc D's is better especially when you're having your lunch break.
In both respects unless you're a floor manager they treat you with little respect (i'm talking about the general public here).
People who work there realise its like a family, you can't choose who you work with cuz you're not the boss, you can only avoid the annoying people or coincidently lock them in the giant walk-in freezer or storage cupboard for the duration of their shift.

McD's is pretty bad. I worked there when I was in High School. Try to seek the advice from a school counselor or member of the clergy. They may be able to steer you in the right direction.

Well in Australia, you get paid more working at Burger King / Hungry Jacks than working at McDonalds.
Not sure about which one is worst though...

Burger King especially the one iam working at. they are always understaffed, never having enough people working, the managers are rude and they make their employees feel stupid sometimes. we have a stupid store manager that wont hire enough people.customers are rude and impatient sometimes. bottom line is this working at a fast food restaurant, doesnt matter where it is or the name, is very stressful and tiring and once youve worked there for awhile u get sick and tired of it. and so on and so on etc.
