if someone was born febuary 29th and the next year febuary was 28 days long does that mean you only age every 4 yrs.idk

not necessarily... you can celebrate your birthday either Feb 28 or Mar 1. There is only a Feb 29 in the calendar because of an excess of 1/4 of a day in the whole year, so it means that your birthday may be between Feb 28 and Mar 1...

Of course not...everyone has a birthday each year! The exception to someone celebrating a birthday on leap year is that they get to choose either February 28th or March 1st in between leap years! Good query!

if you're a stickler to rules, yes, you should celebrate your birthday only on leap years.

but there's nothing that should stop you from celebrating your birthday every year. just take the 60th day from the beginning of the year - and that should be your birthday.

My aunt is a Leap Day baby and by her calculations she says that makes her only 16. (Nice way to think about it!)

The family has always celebrated her birthday on February 28th.

It just means that your actual birthday date will only be around once every 4 years. people that have that just celebrate their birthday earlier or later.
