We need to get the birth rate reduced in poor countries. In extreme cases maybe we should negotiate contraception or sterilisation in return for food aid. I'm serious. A Nobel prize winning economist once said that if you pay people to be poor you'll get more poor people. Nature already has a mechanism for poverty reduction and that is death through famine and disease. Managing the problem with contraception and sterilisation for those who already have large families is relatively civilised.

First of all we are NOT responsible for them being poor.
Second. The only solution to help hungry people in poor countries is to teach them to FARM and grow their own food. Hand outs are only a temporary solution.

Why are people who dont live in those countries responsible? It's their Government that's responsible. Place blame where blame belongs. Solution- People of those Countries need to retaliate and take out the ones who are taking from them. For years and years now these Countries have been given so much money and food but it never helps, ya have to ask yourself why. The leaders dont want improvement, they want to keep their people down.
