My sis and I are nothing alike, though we look similar. I don't talk much. She always does. My friends say my personality is stern and "grey". She is a happy person. But one thing we do share is a fierce temper, though mine is slower. Does anyone have siblings like that?

My best friend has three brothers and sisters and if you didn't know them you would never be able to tell they were related. So I suppose it's common perhaps.

I also want to add that I am very close to my sister and very (maybe overly) protective. I was just curious to see if other people have sisters like this.

I do. My sister and I look almost identical even though there is 9 years between us. I have a high temper and get pretty violent. She is very calm and just yells. Although our morals are reletively the same and we fight for what we believe in we are total opposites. My other sister and me are also total opposites we are only a couple of years apart. She has a temper like me and like me go out and make friends wherever we go but when it comes to family and friends im always right there protective and all she just lays back and waits for the outcome.
Most siblings are like that it's not very unusual. Try and talk to your sister more and try to be more outgoing. That doesnt mean to walk up to a total stranger but just to lighten up a little bit around your friends and show them that you are the party. LoL Good Luck!

I have 2 sisters, who are TOTALLY different from me. The one lives in England, and is bubbly, dark, short and round. Her personality is similar to mine, but that is where it ends. My other sister, who lives in SA with us is short, dark, round and very patient and quiet. I am tall, blond, outgoing and bubbly. We used to fight like cat and dog when we were younger (one is 8 and the other is 6 years older than me), My SA sister always used to say that I was the pretty one (she got ALL the brains tho LOL) She has 3 kids, where I wanted none.
Now we are older, we like nothing better than to spend time together. I am even teaching her to enjoy going to clubs and she is slowly learning to come out of her shell. I love her too bits, even though we are TOTAL opposites. So yes, she got the placid nature, and I got the temper!

My sisters and I were all very different individuals. Just because somebody is in your family does not mean that they will be like you in any way. But we all love each other.It's okay to be different. You dont have to be joined at the hip.

Yeah... I was a tomboy and my sister was a princess. I am easygoing and she is stuck up... but we get along! Once I was in her dorm and a friend came and talked to me for like an hour and never realized I was not her!

Yeah, she looks like dad, I look like mom. She is a conservative and a Christian, I am extremely liberal and an atheist (sometimes I'm agnostic-I flip flop a little). She's easy to irritate, where I'm just easy going.

YES! Our personalities and looks are totally different. She extroverted and blonde and thin. I'm introverted and brunette and..... not so thin. No one would guess that we're sisters.
