I am looking to design a web page, well several actually, and was wondering if anyone can tell me where to get the best free information on "How To" get the job done. When I search I come up with so much that it just makes it more confusing. Maybe someone out there can point me in the right direction.

First you would need to learn HTML, and even better, (X)HTML. Start here:

Then you would need to learn CSS in order to have all your formatting and presentational information in a separate file that is attached to your HTML file. To learn CSS, try here:
