Being from Mass, I ask you to provide a bit more detail. Was it a ratings issue? Was it done via a provate company, or gov't fiat?
Not having that info, I'd say who cares?

EDIT-It's funny to read the lib responses of "get rid of Rush", and other such tripe. Way to support free speech, hypocrite. Also, in the Boston Ratings market, WTKK FM 96.9 conservative(mostly) talk show station enjoyed a 4.0 ratings share, while Air America suffered a .4 share. It has been replaced this quarter with a Spanish language music channel. Haw haw!

Now that the neo-Communists control both houses of Congress and the major media (except Fox and talk radio) you can expect to see this growing effort on the part of the secular-progressives to use their new found power to stifle all dissenting voices critical of their socialist and marxist views and efforts. That is what all such persons do when they gain real power; to wit, read The Rise And Fall Of The Third Reich. See also, any good history of the Russian or Chinese revolutions and observe what happened to the 'free press' in those countries. We were a great nation while we lasted, but soon we will be a socialist 'paradise' where only the Big Brother government's stern views are permitted to be expressed publically.

I listened to Glenn Beck. He claims to hate discussing politics. Recently, I have found his program to be somewhat boring. More and more I switch to local talk radio during his time slot.

In my area, one station hast conservative talk on the air from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm. After that, I turn the radio off. Too much of anything can get old in a hurry.

I feel for ya. Beck rocks!

They moved him to the evening in Nashville, which sucks. Now I'm forced to listen to him online, which is really constraining when you have things to do around the house or driving in the car.

I LOVE Glenn Beck and they took him off the air here in Wisconsin too. I wish some station would pick him up. LOVE his sense of humor about everything! AND I love his patriotism.

The culture war is going strong. Liberal media is wanting to keep the truth from the people. They can't have people messing with their propaganda of a one world government.

It's a good start. Next week maybe they'll get rid of Rush, and those other right wing pinheads.
