Is building a home more or less expensive than purchasing one? How do I go about building this? What's first?

Where would I start and what kind of money would I need to build one?

Complicated one.
Building a house is cheaper since you can get it built exactly how you want it. However its far more difficult to finance because there's no collateral for the bank. Your going to have to check with your financial institution and find a contractor to see if its even possible for you to do.

if u build it urself it will be more expensive becuase u will be adding all the details and will be buying all the stuff while if sumone builds it for you then it wont cost as much becuase they are buying everything and all you pay for is the house. the first thing that you need to do for building a house and haveing a whole in the ground for the house to go in
