just because we are from a poor country and come here to study english and work to have a better life when we come back ??

1. Hey! We're not all like the Metropolitan Police, you know. We ordinary people are not like that - we don't shoot Brazilians just because they look different. And we are outraged that no police officer got charged for that crime.

2. There is a great deal of ignorance about South America in the UK, that is true. You will see that people are not even aware of where most coffee in the UK comes from (it's from Colombia, and not Brazil). In fact, as you have seen from another answer, generally most people do not even know about the existence of the Brazilian community in London - but I do!

3. I have raised money for a street children charity, founded by a Brazilian resident in London, and have been to Brazilian events at Salsa! in Charing Cross Road. So please, don't stereotype us all.

I doubt that VERY much. I have never heard any English person say they hate Brazilians.

Unless you are coming into contact with English "Fala Baratos" I am sure you will feel very welcome.

i dint no that brazilians lived in london! but i avnt got a problem with u, i fink people from southwest asia, n dat are more hated. no offence to anyone

Either you have a persecution complex or you live in a strange neighbourhood. Try to get out more.
