Hit f2 or del on startup, that will enter you into the BIOS and all info will be in there.. or dxdiag in windows at run..

Go to start, all programs, accessories, system tools, system information, and you will find the the bios date, and version there. There is a way to update this info, but be sure that you follow the instructions very carefully, as if the bios chip is soldered, and not socketed, and you update incorrectly it can have dire consequences to your motherboard. If done incorrectly, the motherboard may quit working. I hope this helps

If you are using a windows OS (operating system)
Click on the Start Button and select "Run"
In the dialog box, type "MSINFO32"
A list of all your system information will pop up and you will see your BIOS version in that list.

download a small program called, CPU-Z. It's not installable, and it consists of 3 files. it is handy for a lot of thing sother than just this.
But run it, and go to the motherboard tab. Tell you everyhting you will need to know.
