You don't even have to be innocent, bail is just a charge for you to go free until your court date, so long as you don't skip town and actually go to your court date, you get bail returned to you.

Please dont listen to the stupid people that answered first cause they dont know what they are talking aboutIf you bail out through the court lets say bail is set to 10,000 dollars you would have to put up 2 times that and that wwould be returned.If you go to a bailbonds man you only have to put 10% down to get out that will not be returned no matter what thats how they make money
