I noticed that with my 2nd pregnancy certain symptoms came on much quicker than with the first, but (please don't freak) is it at all possible you are carrying multiples?

First off, every pregnancy is different! I have had those same symptoms, I have also had bleeding for 3 months of my pregnancy and eveything was fine. And if this is your second pregnancy, you are going to feel the symptoms way sooner!! Until you go to the doctor, you will not know really if you are 6 or 10 weeks. And you may be! And pregnancy test results don't always come out right away, I had to take a blood test before I was sure. The regular ones came up negative on me and when I went into the doctor and had a blood test and ultra sound, I was 3 months pregnant. Some hormones are stronger in others than they may be in you or each pregnancy! Hope this help! Good luck and congrats!

Hi there dear. I really think that you need to get in to see your OB/GYN and talk to her about your feelings and your questions. The swollen feet could just be because you are retaining water which is a pretty normal symptom of early pregnancy. I do not think that the backache is anything to worry about either.
It is very possible that you are a bit further along than you originally thought but that is also something that your doctor can figure out for you.
The best person to discuss these things with is your doctor. You might want to get a small spiral notebook and write down all your questions and concerns and then take it with you to the doctors. That way you can be sure to remember all the things that you wanted to ask about and you can even jot down the answers so that you can re-think them later. It is also handy to ask for the spelling of certain things so that you can research them later. Doctors do not always stop to speak in normal people language!
Take care and congratulations on your pregnancy. It will not be as easy this time to take good care of yourself but do make it a priority! Find time for those naps. I don't know how old your other child is but when he/she naps you take one too. Eat well and take your prenatal vitamins!
Enjoy your pregnancy!
Blessings

Dont worry they are not unusual symptoms, your pregnancy is just different from your first pregnancy. I have had sore legs/feet/back since about 12 weeks, so it all changes.
It does sound to me that you are further along than you think, but this will be sorted after your scans etc
Congratulations and Good Luck

i did. i had lower back pain in the first few weeks with the one im pregnant with now. it happens. as for the swollen feet i don't have that yet but don't worry im sure some moms do. oh and if you only started testing positve now then you are only four to six weeks along. good luck and don't worry the doctor will be able to tell for sure how far along you are when they do the ultersound.

You might be a little farther along but not the much, when you have a second child your body changes differently and faster most time. You should get to a dcotor and have them find out how far along you are and talk about you symptoms. Hope you feel better. And congrats!

as for the low back pain...i started getting it at 14 weeks with this pregnancy, but it wasn't until 3rd trimester with my first baby. my midwife just said that things happen earlier and more intensely with each pregnancy. good luck!

Something might not be right go to the doc. Swollen anything is not good. I would know I had toxemia and preclampsisa during mine and almost lost my life as well as the babies. Just make sure.

Another sign is the color of your nipples. They typically darken when you are pregnant. Your symptoms could very well be from pregnancy.

I think you should go to your family doc and then pick an OB/GYN for your prenatal care and get there! Swelling of the feet this early is not good! Make those appointments!
