how do i go about geting the children book i wrote published?

I've tried publishing some stories and i am always looking for helpful information like on J.K. Rowling's site she suggested first getting a Literary agent first because it is so much easier so instead of you having to look for a publisher by your self you get your agent to do it for you. the main book you will need will be The Writer's and Artist Year book 2007.

I was also asking the same question about a week back and from all companies I got, www.choicepublishing.ie seemed to be a simple, straight-forward and serious publishing outfit you can use.
