I have been at my job for a number of years and am a very good employee. I don't have any call ins or lateness. I am up for a very big promotion and everything was looking like it was going my way. Last week my boss told me that the promotion is mine the only thing I have to do now is sleep with him and have his baby. He says that he finds me attractive and he wants to get me pregnant. I wasn't sure if this appropriate work place conduct since I am a married woman, so I went to some of my co workers and they said that they have all slept with him on numerous occasions to get raises and promotions also. Even some of the men clamined to have slep with him as well. I reported this behavior to my boss's manager and says that if I want the promotion I better do as I am told. Should I sleep with my boss and have his baby for this promotion? I really want this job but my boss is not very attractive. Help please!

you are such a great employee! you can work else where when the boss appreciates you for your positive attitude towards your work and you get the promotion cause you DESERVE it and not cause you slept with your boss..you're a married women..you wouldn't destroy your marriage just because of a promotion would you??quit the job straight away..if you have the potential, you can easily find a good job..your boss isn't showing you any respect at all! he's treating all his subordinates like prostitutes and gigolos(sorry for being mean)..

Sexual harassment in the workplace is wrong in any color or form. Collect all of the proof you can and go to the Human resources department. If it is still ignored go above them and if that does not work get a lawyer or contact the local news authorities about it. You should be able to sit down with an lawyer relatively cheap especially considering the circumstance. Some may even do the consultation for free. You will be surprised at the power some bad publicity. You may be better off leaving the company anyways if that is the way they do business.

It doesn't matter how unattractive/attractive he is. You wouldn't cheat on your husband for a job would you? Thats awful. Research sexual harassment and find a place where you can report him or make a complaint. You should earn any promotion you get and not by sleeping with someone. You couldn't have his baby. What would you tell your husband? What would you tell the child? Make a complaint against him. Talk to a counsellor, talk to the police. Do you have a workers union? Anyone. Don't be a fool.

If this is a serious question file a lawsuit. Your boss cannot make you have his baby in order to get a promotion. There is something seriously wrong with the people in your workplace and you if you go through with this. You are a married woman and you respect the vows you took with the man you married. I don't care how much money you get in this promotion, respect yourself and the one you love(your husband).

hunny im 17 years old. i really dont think you should be doing sumthing like that for a promotion. if your boss is like that, then he is a pig. ur happily married and u shouldnt waiste a promotion on your marrage. stay happy and do look for a better job. If you boss is going to be like that and make u sleep with him, then he needs help. and the fact that he has slept with guys too. ewwwwwww. may i add that he is just discusting.

BUT NEVER BETRAY YOURSELF OR YOUR HUSBAND! I tell you, you will regret if you do this... Yar, i know that you wanted this job, you wanted so much, but don't ever betray yourself. If your husband ever knows it, you are in trouble, your family going to break, mayb other people will despise you or whatever. Mayb you might say i am exxagerating, but, i knows that this is not worth... Sleeping with a man who has slept with so many women and men, (touch wood) mayb he even got AIDS that you don't know... PLEASE don't sleep with that utterly disgusting person... Just for one promotion, and this is not worth. Job can always find again, but PLEASE don't do this to yourself. Even you have the highest rank, best salary, but you have betrayed yourself for these, will you feel happy? Don't go against your concience...

You should determine what your pay will be for the process of getting pregnant and for carrying the child. Pregnancy is not a 9-5 job: you should demand (and get!) overtime pay for it.
