Well for me, I'd choose 1) talented, good character but ordinary physical looks. If they have a "sparkeling" personality, that will make them look not-so-ordinary to me. Personality sometimes changes how physically attractive I think someone is. If I become attached to someone's personality, I'll become attached to their looks, too. No matter what they look like.

The sad thing is they tend to fall in love with number 2s as well as want to have fun with them causing bitter heartache and moral outrage to the number 1s. Then when the number 2s break women's hearts these women claim that "All men are bastards" boo hoo. You've got to laugh at women sometimes.
