TV dramas have a higher reputation, considered as being more thought provoking, meaningful and serious. However being a soap actor/ actress can mean you develop more fans and have a larger reputation. However, they can make transitions from one to another, but sometimes it can be difficult and they can be type-cast as a role their well known for.
