Origin of symmetry is their best album I think, especially the song 'plug in baby', but I imagine they will be promoting their latest album black holes and revalations so i suspect that album will be whats mostly played at their concert

Have fun

So am I! The 16th or the 17th? Don't know about you, but I can't wait!!

Anyway, I'd try Absolution first, that their best album in my opinion (It has Time is Running Out, Sing for Absolution, Stockholm Syndrome, Hysteria and Butterflies and Hurricanes all of which are great and the just lovely Endlessly, too), then you'd probably want to go for Black Holes and Revelations as this is their most recent. If the gig is anything like their recent tour they will probably play a lot of stuff from that (Starlight, Supermassive.., Knights of Cydonia etc).

Their other two albums, Showbiz and Origin of Symmetry are good too; I'd likely go for the latter if you want to hear stuff they might well play (Plug in Baby, Bliss, New Born). Hopefully they might play more stuff from Showbiz like Muscle Museum. They didn't bother doing any stuff from Showbiz at all when i saw them in November which was a bit disappointing, but you can't have everything.

Anyway, i hope you have a fab time at the gig; i know i will (just ogling Matt Bellamy for a couple of hours will do me, if nothing else!... hmmm...).

Well, I suppose they will be most likely to play stuff from the latest album (Black Holes and Revelations) so probably that one. But their most popular tracks were, I think, on Origin of Symmetry. I would definately download the track Plug In Baby as they are more than likely to play that. You will love them, they are amazing live. :)

I still think their first album is the best and I can't remember its bloody name but plug in baby is fantasic.

Im nearly 40 now and would love to go and see them but dont think I'd blend in with the crowd too well.

If you listen to the first album in particular you will hear surprising influences especially if you know something about classical music.

Enjoy , they are a real class act. I am a musician myself (irish traditional) and most other musicians i know think they are amazing.

Thats bloody fantastic - you will not be disapointed, I would suggest you buy the latest album first, 'blackholes and revelations', they will definately be playing most of that album, but it is quite different from their previous stuff so you should also get 'absolution', which is a brilliant album, in fact 'origin of symmetry' was also excellent and 'showbiz' is bloody excellent......YOU BETTER GET THEM ALL!!
