Good question, it really depends on what region you are in, and bandwith is set when you sign up for internet service. I currently use Comcast Cable Internet, and enjoy lag free online gaming in my region. Your best bet is to ask your ISP's in your region about their bandwith usage, ask how much upload bandwith you get, and how much download bandwith you get.
