I am 4/5 dpo (days past ovulation) and starting last night, through the night and so far this morning I've been getting quite frequent but sparadic pains low down, almost like a pinching or a pulling, on the left side of my abdomen, they feel a bit like ovulation pains, but worse. I've never felt this in any of my other cycles. Any clue as to what causes these?

I highly doubt it is an SDT as both my partner and I got tested before trying to conceice

You could be pregnant, they could be implantation pains. I would wait until i'm next due and then do a pregnancy test.

Obviously if your period comes you are not pregnant so it would have been something else causing the pains so I would see a doctor about them, especially as you are trying to conceive.

I agree with Dad 2 b it sounds like you may have a cyst. I suffered with similar shooting pains every other month around ovulation time, my doctor sent me for a scan and discovered I had a small 5mm cyst on one ovary.
Most cysts disappear on their own but some do need to be removed, I was lucky mine popped (quite painfull but no worse than a bad period)
My advice, go see your doctor.

confident, I surely have sharp pains on my section as quickly as I ovulate. surely i think of there's a acceptance for it yet i won't be in a position to undergo in ideas it top now. I examine that the discomfort surely happens AFTER the egg is released.

It could be endometriosis. This is when fragments of the uterine lining migrate through the fallopian tubes to other parts of the pelvic cavity and attach to other organs like your ovaries, uterus or bladder. they can cause pain around the time of menstruation and may form cysts. your best bet is to go to the docs. good luck.

You could be pregnant, if not, you may have an STD. Go to your GUM clinic and get a screening and also ask if they will do a pregnancy test.
You won't find the answer on here.

i got that when i got pregnant, it is when the egg implants itself in to the wall of your womb, i would do a pregnancy test, if it's not that it could be a cyst on you ovary.
