Salt.
Wet your hands and face first. Then take some pure salt in the palm of your hand and massage gently all over your face for a minute or two. Rinse your face. That's it! One more hint: You may follow this by massaging your face with a smooth piece of ice taken out of the fridge. You must do it every evening before going to bed and after thoroughly cleansing your skin with water and a gentle facial wash. And if you continue to do this every night, your skin will get better and better. The more days you do this, the better skin you will get. Believe me: this method outperforms all other methods for it is gentle enough and you will soon have fantastic and fabulously looking skin.
Many people in here have recommended various brands of cosmetics but my method is the best and proven throughout the years; it is fantastic for its results in obtaining a perfect skin - smooth, ageless looking, radiant and just perfect. It is also ecological and cheap. And best of all - it really works!

why get a exfoliater when pure soap and water and then a good rub with a rough or course towel will just do the same. I have done this all my life and I bet my skin is softer and nicer than yours with all the creams you use. If you didnt use creams on your face you wouldnt need to exfoliate. The fact that you using exfoliates explains everything, do you not realise that these are cons that block your pores and cause spots rough skin etc.. So then you go out and buy more to clear it. Get in the bath with a good soap and a sea sponge and give your face a good scrub babe.

Hi
You need to be really careful when trying out any new products, especially so if you have sensitive skin,
If you want to try a new routine then I would recommend clinique 3 step range, they will give you a consultation and recommend the products to use for sensitive skin. If you ask they will even give you a patch test on the back of the neck or other discrete area so that you know if you will have a reaction before you try it out on youe entire face.
If you just want to 'add' exfoliation to your usual routine then ground oats is excellent - just blitz some porridge oats in a blender. you can then add this to your usual clenser and gently massage onto your face. You can also place some oats in a muslim bag and then add this to your bath as this is running for a calming and soothing treatment for sensitive skin on the body.
Be wary of any natural apricot nut products or similar as the sharp edges of the ground nut can scratch the delicate surface of your skin, and please do not use pumice or sand on your sensitive skin, save these for your feet.
Hope that this helps ... be careful

Face: Liz Earle has great products. I use The Cleans and Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser daily, which has had awards and great reviews. There is also a Gentle Face Exfoliator which I use weekly. Available from www.lizearle.com and QVC
Body: I body brush before I shower then use exfoliating gloves to apply my shower creme. I also use The Santuary Salt Scrub on problem areas, which has Dead Sea Salts to exfoliate and Sweet Almond, Jojoba and Evening Primrose Oils which soften and moisturise. Available at Boots and www.thesanctuary.co.uk

Dont waste money on the expensive brands. You are only paying for the brand name. Super drug range are just as good. Also I use an exfoliating sponge from superdrug which is effective and costs about 1.50. The have a range especially for sensitive skin for under 3.00

well you can have anything from the body shop... that's brilliant for sensitive skin. I use that, also vitamin E moisturisers (you can get it from anywhere pretty much) is good to help keep skin soft...but if you want a really intense exfoliation, get a mask...can't recommend one because i don't really use them often, but i know if you put avacados and olive oil and mush it all up together it helps to get it clean and lovely again =). Hope this is helpful...

Our skin is the largest organ of our body. Caution: Exfoliators remove the ultraviolate , moisterizing etc. protection of your skin. Apply it at sunset and use good sun screen lotion during daylight. Damages to your (permanent!) skin will happen if you are not careful. Watch out for allergies. Stop upon redness, inflammation and allergic reactions.
Low budget method:
- DOVE exfoliating soap for washing dead skin. Use only barely cold water. Warm will make it red and dry.
- Hydrocortisone cream causes thinning will make it soft after(2 weeks) Try first .5% then 1%.
- Nourish and prevent dryness with exfoliating EUCERINE namebrand. The generic feels like sandy.
-Instead of soda drink Green Tea for its the polyphenols and catechins. Drink more water than you normally would.
