is there any way to consolodate (or aleast organize) the contents of your mind?
i.e. ideas,emotions etc.

Too some degree YES
You can make lists. List out your dreams and goals as well as your tasks and to dos. Follow your lists, so that you get things done. When you feel distracted by your thoughts, take a moment jot down the distraction, then go back to your lists.

The Chinese people say; don't worry about problems who have solutions and for problems who have no solutions...
Anyway, if your problems doesn't belong to any of those categories or u want just to relax then try meditation, ''healing'' with art or nature...It is really helpfull..

only when you find your real purpose..
it's either you cross-stitch,
or make a beautiful sweater.

if not, your mind remains an untangled ball of yarn.

I suggest that you focus your energy on something that you enjoy... how about knitting all that yarn.
