You can unlock phones from the 3 network but it depends on 2 things:
1. Has an unlock code been produced either by the manufacturer of the handset or by a third party?
2. What is the charge for unlocking the handset?
First thing to do is call 3 and see if they have an unlock code and if so what the charge is. If they don't or the charge is hefty then just google your handset model with "unlock handset" and see what comes up. A lot of the 3G forums will have information and be able to advise on reputable third parties supplying such a service.

Yes you can but the only way i know of ,of doing it is to phone three up and pay the charge ..think its £35 you would still be liable to continue paying the contract ..... they may also not allow you to unlock it until your contracts run out..
