I say nothing, it was his choice to tape it and I'm sure other people who were there video taped it also. It just gives victims families reassurance that what actually happened, happened. He got exactly what he deserved, I'm sure some of the unlawful executions of the thousands of people were taped. Also the beheading of that reporter i believe was taped, i say that is much much worse since he was an innocent person.

I don't think anything should happen to them. News crews and officials who were there filmed the execution. Why did they film it if they didn't want people to see it?? And the guy that filmed it on his mobile phone - I think it's only fair that the people who have lost loved ones as a result of Saddam's actions deserve to see his execution if they want to.

that is a judgment call for iraq. the trial gave a level of control and justice for iraq by its own people. sadam killed and tortured approximately one million people during his reign, many of which were his own countrymen. it is reported that he had drained 50 billion out of that country. what should happen to the cell phone videographer is for iraq to decide. it was good to have a record for history of the end to one of this century's greatest villans, however, it seems it is being used as another excuse to put down the progress there or intwine america in negative press. in comparison to his own deeds, a hanging was a walk in the park. and as far as the effort underway, its time america reclaims its generous efforts with repayment, natural resources of iraq should be used to repay our investment and continued efforts should we decide to continue. we should benefit in a barter relationship for our resources provided as well as use the commodity exchanged to hire anyother mercenary group willing to participate and get our people home. iraq can fund their own reconstruction and protection through their resources, and we are entitled to claim same until we have all our own back. sadly enough we lost several thousand of our young men and women. and so is war. iraq and its neighbors have battled amongst themselves for thousands of years and a soft hand and civilized heart will not resolve their issues quickly or appropriately. finance the cost of democracy or whatever else iraq wants with their resource in exchange till the jobs done. upfront frank arrangement, redistribute the effort by paying for it with their resource and when the time is right, everything will resolve and they have their better world. as far as videotaping sadam or anything else, let them figure it out. iraq step up to the plate. besides its a far cry from the video of a beheading of an innocent non-combatant that was displayed on the internet, and its reminecent of italy's mussolini hung upside down in the town square. he who lives by the sword...

Nothing. He only showed the world that the tyrant was dead and no one had to fear him or his followers any more. Saddam deserved nothing. After his execution took place he should have been cremated and his ashes dumped in the desert. The man had no respect for life so why give him any respect in the way he died.

Do you really think they didn't know about him leaking the footage? They could have confiscated all phones and elecronic equipment at the door if they really wanted to be careful.
