Barbara is certainly not going to admit she made a mistake like that. It has too many consequences, including admitting she made a mistake by agreeing to let Star Jones go. It all ties together and all would represent how she handles business matters. She hired Rosie as she knew it would bring about controversy. Her show has "jumped the shark" and as most shows who have jumped the shark, they do things that are below the standard in order to try resurrect the ratings and audience following. It may or may not work but all of this is better than admitting your show is failing.

No I do not agree with Barbara. I think hiring Rosie was the dumbest thing they ever did. Opinionated lesbians like her think that people care about what she has to say. Let me be the first to clue her in that we don't. I for one never will want to hear her views on anything. I stopped watching the View when they canned Starr Jones.

Walters is not going to come right out and say she regrets hiring Rosie, I'm sure Rosie signed a contract and now they have to live with her until her contract is up.

When you think about it, Rosie is keeping the View in the public eyes. Even negative publicity is better no publicity.
