knock on a lot of doors. Dont bug people at dinner time, i HATE when I am having dinner to have someone interrupt with a sales call, telephone or at the door.

I had a buddy that used to sell Bibles door to door. He had a terrible speech impediment...a terrible stutter, but he was their top salesman. He'd simply go up to their house and when they answered, he'd say....
"Hi. My my my my my name's B b b bill. A a a and I'd like you to ex ex ex ex ex experience this n n n new fantastic B b b b bible. M m m maybe y y y y y y y y you'd like to buy one, or I I I I I could just r r r r r r read some of it t t t t to you."
That's all he told them, and they'd buy one RIGHT NOW! Maybe it'll work for you. Just a little tip from my buddy Bill's experience.
