Possibly because there are actually more conservatives and moderates in America than any other political group. Even the Democratic party is majority moderate. Lately Liberals have gotten all the attention, but I think that goes back to the squeaky wheel cliche

Another angle that people don't realize as you get older and hopefully more wiser you tend to become more conservative,
also liberals do not have a lot of children and those that are able are more likely to abort their children than conservatives so it might be a example of their philosphy working too well againts them.

People are FINALLY seeing the light.
The difference between Republicans & Democrats
A Republican and a Democrat were walking down the street when they came to a homeless person.
The republican gave the homeless person his business card and told him come to his business for a job. He then took twenty dollars out of his pocket and gave it to the homeless person.
The Democrat was very impressed, and when they came to another homeless person, He decided to help. He walked over to the homeless person and gave him directions to the welfare office. He then reached into the Republicans pocket and gave him fifty dollars.

Bacause only conservatives are capable of providing logical and thought out answers. Liberal ideas are based in emotion, speculation, and wishful thinking. So by definition there's not much mindset behind it.

Early in the morning YA tends to be more conservative but becomes liberal around morning rush hour while all the conservatives are heading to work.

Now that Bush has been an abysmal failure, the conservatives feel very threatened, because they know that they are history with moderate Americans. So they make a lot of noise, and spout Fox News Channel factoids, which look like facts until they are checked, for pages and pages, as if weight mattered more than substance.

Because they lost the last elections and need to justify their failed ideologies somewhere, some how.
Example: They think we are winning in Iraq and that Bush is a wise and thoughtful leader........LOL delusional.
