Pads or Tampons?

Question

What do you use? And why?

What are the pros and cons?

Pads -

Cons - messy clean up, "period odor" stronger
Pros - breathable, no toxic shock syndrome

Tampons -

Pros - comfortable if inserted properly, small, less odor
Cons - can't use if hymen present, non-breathable

I think it is best to alter between them - day tampons nights pads or vice a versa

i don't know about the pros and cons but i would take pads since tampons annoy me

Both are good, but depends on preference. some people cant stand the moist pad, and others don't resist tampons. the only cons tampons have, its that you have submitted to a vagina procedure, and you MD will tell you that.

Tampons are easy to use and very sanitary but if you are young you may not want to use them because they can be somewhat uncomfortable at first.

Pads oh Yuck..... Pads are bulky squish up sometimes and sometimes you can smell them.

On the other hand if you are afraid to use tampons you don't have much of a choice.

pads. because it is more comfortable to use. i dont actually know the pros and the cons of those but just use whatever that makes you feel comfortable! ok?

I use pads, because i dont think tampons are very safe anyways, with that whole tss bullshit. Sometimes when i go swimming i will wear one, but usually i dont, cuz they hurt like HE!!, and so i prefer pads over tampons.

i use pads because tampons cause me to get infections... even if i change them hourly. lol
