If it's 3x+17>50 then the answer is x>11

1)Pretend the > sign is an = sign.
3x+17=50
3x = 50-17
3x =33
x = 11..... now replace the = with the original >
x>11 Answer.
(This method does not always work for negative numbers ..sometimes you have to replace> with< at the end.
Check which answer makes sense before deciding.)

3x>33
x>33/3

natural numbers go along in the right side and because 17 was changing it place from left wing to right he become -17 then after you summed all natural numbers (without parameter x,y,...)

Whatever you do to one side, you have to do to the other.
First, take 17 from each side, leaving 3x>33.
Second, divide by 3; x>11.
