If you were Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, the president of Iran, would you also proceed with developing nuclear energy although many countries in the world including America oppose it?

Furthermore, what would you feel about the countries going agains you on this issue.

What would you do if those opposing countries implemented sanctions and threatened with military actions like the situation is moving towards now?

Hansi,

America is not against nuclear energy, we are against nuclear weapons....HELLO!

The Iranians have offers from around the world to help them develop the technology under the watchful eye of the UN.

Mahmoo can't be trusted, and has made statements about wiping Israel off the face of the earth ,and made references to beginning the battle of Armagedeon.

It is a contest at this point who blows who up first.

You really don't beleive that radical bastard just wants energy to run your TVs and refrigerators...do you?

In Iran Nuclear Power is considered to be the technology of the future, and any attempts to cut them off from it is held in a negative light- true, they were offered a package that would enable them to produce civilian nuclear energy but they would not have access to the actual technology and research.

This is what is ultimately important to Iran, and Ahmadinejad. Foolish pride, it is.

I would move the economy to it's former glory by adopting western values and make peace with the world. The Persians were always regarded as great and good people. The Ayatollh kicked the bucket and the government got even worse. The three worst leaders of all persian history are the last 3 and it is time to move ahead. The nukes make you a target.

I would attempt to get along with the rest of the world instead of trying to push it closer to the precipice like he's constantly doing. That little madman actually thinks that by starting a world war, the forces of radical islam are going to conquer the West. They've apparently taken the actions of France and Germany as a sign that the rest of us are weak.

The best course is to win the confidence of President Bush. I can bet that all reasonable demands will be met. Iran can play important role in 'war against terrorism'. World has now completely changed. Emotional and unworkable slogans can harm the country. Their effects are only short lived.

By his actions, W has really placed MA in the cat bird's seat. He knows there is little the US or the West can do to him or Iran.
