cvtips.com is a great source of cv templates and advice. To be more specific:

http://www.cvtips.com/CV_example.html

But the problem with templates is that by no means are you to use a plain template, without modifyin it. The advantage stands in commodity, but the disadvantage stands in superficiality.

Word. Open New File. Select From Computer. This will then show all of the templates held on Word. Select CV.

There are templates in Microsoft word, They are pretty Tacky, but they do give a starting point.

It really boils down to how you want to present the information on a sheet of A4, and what kind of layout you want.

Try looking at the Monster website - I think they give advice there. Basically you need your personal details - name, address etc. then you need to list qualifications and experience. A CV really shouldn't be more than two pages of A4 paper.
