Just wondering. It's a question I saw earlier, I noticed the answerer that said "yes" got 6 thumbs up and people that actually wrote a sentence got thumbed down

I hear you on that topic.
I wrote out a nice long answer for someone and looked up info to help her and she took the other answer that was simple minded and not as detailed as mine.
Some of us take quite a bit of time and thought into helping others and don't get the appreciation.

I had a look but there were thumbs up and thumbs down all over the place!
I often see "yes" or "no" answers thumbed down.
I think most people look on that as point gaming; putting little or no effort into the answer.

I don't think it was a serious question as it was posted in Polls and Surveys - a yes or no answer is always that was needed.

When a religious question is asked, there seems to be a distinct - us and them....regardless of the answers given.

You can't tell what the right answer is until the questioner picks a best answer.
Personally, the right answer for me would be: "I don't believe in god, so he won't"
