I know that you can get a sender, but i already have 2 wireless routers, is it possible to configure them so I can extend the reach of my connection, and if so, how?

No, 2 routers will screw the other's firewalls in, what you need is a "bridge" device, which will work in pretty much the same was as you're thinking.

Ask your local PC store for a "wi-fi bridge" device, and they will point you in the right direction, make sure you tell them what router you're currently using, as well as your ISP and known settings to ensure compatability.

Check the router see whether it can be configured as access point (AP), if can then just set it as access point and the other as router, then it will create a bigger wireless network.
