The only way you could improve your vision (without wearing correctibe lenses or contacts) is by having some type of refractive surgery (LASIK, PRK, etc) Most of it is genetic and there is no real cure for a refractive error. Carrots don't work, and neither does the Bates Method. Once you are at least 18, and your prescription has stabilized (meaning that you haven't needed a change in your prescription in at least 12 months, preferrably longer) and you meet certain other criteria, you may be a candidate for refractive surgery. Only through a consulation with an eye surgeon, can it be determined if you are a good candidate for refractive surgery.

That depends on the cause of the poor vision. You might just need glasses or contact lenses. If you have cataracts, they need to be removed. If you have diabetic vision loss, laser treatment can help. Some conditions, like macular degeneration, have no cure at this time. You need to get a diagnosis from a qualified professional, not a bunch of advice from people who have no professional training and haven't examined your eyes. Go to an eye doctor as soon as possible - for some conditions, delay may make treatment difficult. Good luck!!
