I have this friend, but now he's been acting really obnoxious for a while (i have tried to put up with it), but he's friends with one of my BEST friends, who would think I'M mean if I just ignored him(the obnoxious one). I'd rather sorta not be friends with the one, and keep my best friend. Any suggestions on how i can do that without hurting any feelings?

One good solution is:

To make your best friend see by his own eyes that this (obnoxious friend) is treating you in a bad and rude way.
After that say to your best friend: did you see that? Do you like this to happen to one of your best friends?
Then you will see if your best friend deserves to be your best friend.

just tell your best friend that you would just rather not hang out with the obnoxious one. if your best friend really is your best friend then they'll understand

i think you'd end up hurting someones feelings at the end no matter what choice you make but you'll never know until you do it. Life is short, so do what you want.!

why do you have to put up with it!!!!If it bothers you....... the best friend I hope, would not like it either. So basically it comes down to who really matters.
