I think me and the entire class failed Algebra 2, I so certian of this because the teacher attached a summer-school application to the mid-term test and told us to fill it out and have it signed by our parents. If I do fail is there any other way besides summer school.

Depending on what grade level you're in, there is another way... if you are let's say a junior (in high school) then there is a possibility of talking to your councilor about retaking first semester Algebra II. If you are a Senior well then as my teacher would say.... "When you go to ICC(insert any community collage if you want) you will want a brown bag for your high school level Algebra II book." You could also get a toutor

There might be some sort of correspondence course for credit available where you live. Talk to the guidance counsellor at your school.

And instead of thinking that you've failed and focusing so much on that that you'll end up creating that very thing in your life, focus on passing. You said it was the mid-term--this means you have months left of this class. Go over all the work you've done already and make sure you can do every question entirely on your own. This might mean setting aside 30 minutes or so a day just to work on this review and mastering it. But if you do the work and make sure to learn it, there's no reason you need to fail.

And frankly, if the teacher put the form on the test before you even did the test, then how do you know you failed? Or am I missing something in what you wrote? Also, if indeed most of or all the class failed, it'd be vital to go talk to the guidance counsellor or somebody higher up. The teacher's job is to make sure you're being taught and learning what you need to, not to send you off to summer school so that somebody else can teach you.

I'm failing algebra two as we speak. I am horrible at math. I have hired two tutors so that I can study adn work ( in my own time and pace) I find that if you work in your own comfortable environment that things go a lot smoother. In time you'll become better at it and if you have to take the class over, then pass summer school adn just retake the class. With some bits of tutoring durring your break, you'll re-enter the class more confident and prepared.
