Baby's development differ from child to child. Taking into consideration the environment the baby is exposed too. If positive, busy and has older siblings it may increase the child's development a little faster.

No one believed me when my now adult daughter, rolled over at 3 weeks of age, until they saw it themselves. Even the paediatrician was a little surprised as she was a month premature.

She was crawling by 5 months even if it was backwards, toilet trained through the day by 9 months, could also walk and say quite a few words, strangely octopus being one of her first words.

Enjoy your little fellow as they grow so quickly, and if you ever have any concerns about your son, speak to your paediatrician or maternal health nurse.

Well, over the past century humans have evolved a little and babies mature faster than they used to. A lot of older people I've spoken to say it's hormones used in breeding livestock, eventually turned into food sources (hormones make them mature faster). It seem like these types alterations have permenently effected our bodies.

At the turn of the 20th century, most babies were born with their eyes clothes, sat up and walked much much later. I didn't until I was past 1. Many recent arrivals in my fam started walking between 6-9 months. I've seen an infant that was 6 months old speaking in nearly complete and coherent sentences.

You will also notice among young children that they are much wiser these days. I know they are exposed to a lot of media, but their ability to comprehend things - that point arrives much earlier for children these days.

So, it's absolutely normal.

It's scary, the thought of where we will be 100 years from now. Will human beings be born already knowing how to speak, and walk like many other mammals?

Your baby is doing very well & is very strong. Don't worry things could be worse. Do you attend any playgroups/mother groups etc? You will get more of an idea if you see other babies at a similar age. My kids were the same & were all walking unaided by 10 months. Well done to you.

" Iwant milk" or Give me teddy" and other simple ones.. Now, he is a multi-talented kid and is now in college at the age of 12( or 13 I m not sure but its 12 or 13) be proud of your child and help hm enchance his gift.....

All babies develop at their own rate, perhaps he's just really excited to get going...maybe he's motivated by other "little people" running around the house... I wouldn't worry about it, however, if he continues to develop mentally at an accelerated pace you may want to have him tested...perhaps the kid is gifted!

each child is different, and learns at there own rate, and your child is coming along just fine. enjoy as they do grow up fast and don't stay baby's for long enough.

Babies do what babies do when they are ready to do them. There is no standard for these things. Some babies do them early in life, and some take their time. He is probably just impatient.
